How Things Are Made
: Light Cube

How Things Are Made Light Cube examines the interdependency of manufacturing and production systems by uncovering and visualizing networks and connections.
All sides of the cube are covered with hand-printed woodcuts that depict a range of manufacturing processes. When the viewer is challenged to find any origin or conclusion of the system in the cube, interconnection is sensed from every direction as all the patterns blend into each other. The light appears to guide viewers along the process, but ends up exposing the process as a cycle.
